Concept, Art Direction & production

Dreamy soundscapes for Scandinavias leading consumer electronics brand.

BACKGROUND
Snask rebranded the luxury hifi brand Bang & Olufsen and got asked to bring the new brand to life with a concept. The brand had lost its way and everything was very technical, cold and without emotions. Snask took it upon themselves to reinvigorate the brand concept and art direction with the first step being to move away from the impersonal and gallery like setting that B&O had used earlier.

CASE
The concept was called "ray of light" which represented the new brand color and that magic hour in the afternoon when the sun shines through the window and makes the whole room magical, kind of like a B&O product. It was important
that customers would feel like they could "step into the image" and feel like home. A pile of orange peel, a too big sandwich, an imperfect unmade bed and so forth. In one year B&O went from being cold and technical to a very emotional brand that gave the feeling of being present.
